NOTO Redbud Park

We’re working with NOTO to develop a sculpture park at the corner of Gordon Street and North Kansas Avenue in North Topeka. The park will repurpose and update the existing metal building on the site to provide a backdrop for a new performance stage. Nearby building’s walls will have murals to celebrate the arts and Topeka. Throughout the park sculptures by local artists will be carefully placed. Around the perimeter of the park new gabion wall bench seating will be installed. An existing concrete ramp will serve as a plinth for sculpture. Metal poles will be adorned with art from community artists. Existing asphalt will be repurposed to create paths between landscaped features. We’re excited about the development of this park and how it can help showcase the arts in Topeka!
