While enjoying a cold drink and steak at the 49th State Brewing Company in Anchorage we couldn’t help by notice the attention to detail throughout the building. Tables were natural edged lumber book matched and dovetailed together with a beautiful joint in the center. The top of a partial height wall at the stair was exposed to reveal the joint between the concrete wall and the mortar and stone face. This joint is beautiful in it’s simplicity and rarely exposed like this.
