Anchorage Percent for the Arts

It’s neat to see what a percent for the Arts program can do to inspire art in a community. The city of Anchorage, Alaska is bursting with art. Due, at least partially, to the Percent for the Arts Program they have in place. Some of the pieces in the images below are funded by a percent for the arts requirement and other pieces were created separate from that program. We believe a percent for the arts program allows artists to thrive in community, which allows even more art to occur.
