The Value of Construction Experience for Students of Architecture…

2018/6/22 –

Our staff went out to lunch together today and was trading stories about the value of hands on construction experience.  One of our associates, Jake, was telling a story about a Architecture school classmate of his that he was working on a “design-build” project with.  He had asked the student to hand him a screw driver.  The classmate handed him a hammer…Jake responded, “That’s a hammer, not a screwdriver.”  The student shrugged.  The kid didn’t know what the difference between a screw driver and a hammer!!!  How can this be possible???
