Bryan enjoys the Arts, spending time with his wife and three children and long road trips cross country. One of his goals in life is to see all of America’s National Parks.
Bryan is thrilled to be able to offer quality Architectural services to his clients, fine tuning the approach of each project to best meet the needs of the client.
Besides servicing Clients to the best of his abilities, Bryan’s other goal is creating a company that allows for growth and wealth of his employees. He’s begun creating an internal development company where employees can become owners in the buildings the firm develops.
Bryan Falk

Janie is a NCIDQ certified Interior Designer with over 25 years of experience in the industry. Janie helps our team not only with interiors projects but architectural and preservation work as well! Janie has been with our company for several years.
She’s detailed oriented and great at meeting the needs clients, both corporate and government. One of Janie’s many strengths is field verification of existing structures. If she’s sent to the field to verify conditions she’ll come back with great notes detailing the exact conditions.
Janie Bartee

Bob brings considerable experience in both Architecture and construction. He previously was a principal Architect of his own firm and has over 30 years experience on perhaps thousands of projects.
Bob is responsible for project management, quality control, specification writing, mentoring younger staff and construction administration.
Bob and Peter Gierer (another of our staff) were former partners at the firm E-Architects before joining Falk Architects.

Yiwan is an Architectural Designer and graduate from Columbia University with a Master of Science Degree in Urban Design. Yiwan helps with rendering, graphic design, and computer modeling / GIS/visualization. She is starting the process of becoming a licensed architect and gaining all the knowledge and skills to do so. She has enjoyed using her problem-solving skills around the office.
Yiwan is originally from Wuhan, China, and has lived in New York for over six years. She enjoys traveling, painting, and exploring software. Yiwan has been to 11 countries so far. Her goal is to get her passport full of stamps!

Tamara brings over a decade of experience with A/E firm office management. Tamara is responsible for Falk Architect’s invoicing, books, putting together proposals and RFQ responses and a variety of other essential tasks that keep our business running smoothly.
An interesting fact about Tamara is her husband was a former professional baseball player!
Tamara studied art in college and also has a background in graphic design. She is married with 3 grown children.

Office Manager
Bailey is a K-state interior architecture graduate. She’s a talented interior design and 3d renderer that has been with us for several years.
In her down time Bailey enjoys pursuing creative outlets that range from sewing and knitting to painting, sketching, and sculpting.
Bailey wins the award for most tattoos in the office. She’s also very stylish! If you walk down the street with Bailey on a given day, multiple people will typically stop her and tell her they like her outfit.
Bailey Miller
Architectural Designer
Peter brings over 30 years of architectural experience to our team, including being a lead architect and principal in-charge in another Topeka firm for the majority of that time. He serves as a Project Manager, provides quality control, and mentors less experienced staff.
His past experience is largely on commercial architectural remodels, but he even has experience as general contractor on projects. Some of the prominent projects he’s been involved with include the Security Benefit Building near Wanamaker and Capitol Federals renovated building in Downtown, Topeka.
Peter Gierer, AIA
Architect & Project Manager
Bob has over 40 years of experience in design and construction. During that time, he has been involved in some of the larger span PEB buildings in the US. He is an expert in pre-engineered metal building design.
When not designing and building buildings, Bob and his wife Sharon love to travel internationally. They are involved with the Command and General College at Ft. Leavenworth, sponsoring international military officers. They participate in the Citizens Alumni group of the Clay County Sheriffs department and lead a small group Bible Study. Bob and Sharon have two adult sons and two grand girls. Sharon’s primary goal is to spoil those girls.

Jiabao Shang is an Architectural Designer and recent graduate from KU. He is technically minded and besides working on construction documents, renderings and code analysis he also helps with the office IT issues. Jiabao has been with our company for several years.
Jiabao is originally from Beijing, China and moved to the U.S. six years ago. His hobbies include basketball, and tinkering, and fixing things.
Jiabao comes from a long line of Architects. His father owns an A/E firm in China!

John is one of our Revit gurus and architectural designers. He’s been using Revit since high school and knows how to crank out work fast! He’s a K-State grad and working on his architectural license. He’s quickly picking up all the skills required to become a well rounded architect. John has been with our company for several years.
John is into movies, gaming and 3d printing. He recently 3d printed a full sized, realistic Mandalorian helmet. Pretty awesome. The Holy Trinity of movies for John is Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Robin Hood Men in Tights and the Princess Bride.
John Sampson

Paul is a University of Kansas Architecture major and assists us part time with drafting and design work. Paul gained real world experience working in the construction industry before starting architecture school.

Robyn is an interior and architectural designer with over 7 years in the industry. She has taught classes at K-state University and has experience in education design. She is married to another Architect and professor at K-state and has 4 children.
Robyn excels at Revit, graphic design and interior design and is excited to be a part of our growing team.
Robyn Gibson
Interior Designer
Cole is currently in his third year studying Architecture at K-State and will be joining us this summer. He'll be lending his experience in drafting and design while also being involved with photography and videography for our previous and upcoming projects. Beyond his academic pursuits, Cole finds joy in working on his car, helping around the house, and capturing photography and videography during his free time.
