Redbud Park
The NOTO Redbud Park Project started out as a parking lot that housed industrial equipment. The park features several small sculpture gardens, the pavilion, and an outdoor stage. Total size of the park is approximately 25,000 square feet, including the pavilion and stage. The service shed was refurbished as part of the park construction. The industrial character of this 1800 square foot building is balanced with innovative finishes that lend an “artsy” feel. With 13.5 feet ceilings and large barn doors in the main area, the facility offers a large, open atmosphere suitable for a variety of events. The Kaw Valley Stage includes a round pergola structure, the deck that connects to the Pavilion, and the area on the south side of the Pavilion. Major Obstacles: Existing/original building structure not square or plumb.
