Falk Architects is proud of our experience in the systems construction industry. We met Bob on one of those projects. Bob has over 40 years of experience in the systems business. He has been involved in some of the larger span Pre-Engineered Metal buildings in the US. Some of the markets he has been involved in are power, car dealerships, churches, schools, casinos, aircraft hangars, sports and recreation covers and amusement park buildings. The use of systems construction can save owners money, but can also be made to not look like a “tin building”. His background of integrating conventional structures with systems components and roof and wall cladding is a great way to economically open big buildings up while utilizing the more economical roof and wall cladding or dress up a “metal building” to be much more attractive, usually making the “metal buildings unrecognizable as such. We are excited to step up our support of the systems construction industry contractors and developers with Bob’s expertise. He will also be opening a new branch of our firm in the Kansas City metro area.
When not building buildings, Bob and his wife Sharon love to travel internationally. They are involved with the Command and General College at Ft. Leavenworth, sponsoring international military officers , they participate in the Citizens Alumni group of the Clay County Sheriffs department and lead a small group Bible Study. Bob and Sharon have two adult sons and two grand girls. Sharon’s primary goal is to spoil those girls.
