Updated Renderings for the Portal Manhattan project

We’ve been working on a public art project within the City of Manhattan, KS. It’s a 8’ diameter custom cast concrete ring with color changing LED rings in the inside. The “Portal” will be placed in a new pocket park that we are also designing. The pocket park consists of 2x2x2 blocks of limestone arranged in a circular patter with native plantings and grasses, a concrete plinth for the sculpture and concrete floor surface. The piece is meant to be interactive (something people can touch and climb on). We’re excited to bring another point of interest to Manhattan.
