Rebuilding a Historic Church Tower

2018/8/2 –

We’re working with Assumption Catholic Church to rebuild their historic church towers.  Over the years the towers have suffered structural failure, largely due to water infiltration and freeze/thaw.  We have been tasked with documenting and rebuilding the towers as closely as possible while upgrading their long term structural stability.  Over the coming months, you will likely see massive amounts of scaffolding as the contractor removes the highest segments of the tower, then rebuilds.  We will be providing new copper roofs, likely enclosing the openings in the existing archways with glass (to prevent future water damage), upgraded exterior lighting, and a beefed up structural system.  We’re excited about this challenging but fun project!
