Non-plastic Play

Urban slide – Omaha Nebraska

We were visiting Omaha recently and discovered a pretty neat urban slide near their downtown.  We sat and watched the action for about 20 minutes.  Some kids had brought wax paper to make themselves go faster down the slide.  Only a couple of minor injuries occurred during this time.  We were digging the durability of the concrete and the way the slide was built into the landscape.  Topeka?  What do you think about upping our play game?  Something like this will bring happiness to kids and adults for generations to come.
