Lake Shawnee Family Adventure Park

2017/11/18 – Jim Martin, a retired Engineer with PEC Consultants in Topeka and now active Community volunteer and John Knight, Parks Director present to the Heartland Visioning group regarding the proposed outdoor adventure park at Lake Shawnee.  Jim put together a survey of possibly amenities to include near the lake including zip lines, ropes courses and water features.  As the newly selected Architect for the P&R Department, Falk Architects is excited to help with these future projects and upcoming progressive upgrades at recreation centers for Shawnee County.  Check out what they have planned and take the survey at the link below:
