Attention Architects! Name Your Printers.

In an effort to improve the architectural profession, we occasionally share little “nuggets of wisdom” we have picked up through the years. This one is a no-cost, no-brainer but somehow something that is not commonly done.

How many times have you accidentally sent a print to the Toshiba 4600 rather than the Toshiba 7200 (or some other random, impossible to remember name) and wasted paper and time? As soon as we upgraded to a second printer we realized it was time to name them. Meet Tango and Cash. Names give your printer a personality. Tango is on your left. They look alike…you really have to get to know them.

Other possible names Bert/Ernie, Jack/Jill, Larry/Moe/Curly...
